Caesarean Birth Babies in Risk

According to a US study babies delivered by Caesarean are three times more likely to die in the first months than those born naturally. Almost 5.7 million births were examined in the above mentioned study. Statistics revealed by the online edition of BBC News show that from 1998 till 2001 the average death rate among 1,000 vaginal births was 0.62 compared to 1.77 per 1,000 Caesarean births.
