Baby Shower Held For Separated Twins

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. -- A baby shower was held Sunday for a pair of conjoined twins who were separated in early September. The twins, who were joined at the lower back and spine, were taken off of their breathing machines. And in celebration, Sheboygan residents threw the shower. The shower was held at St. Dominic's church and had a religious twist. Parishioners were able to drop off gifts as they entered the church for mass. "[I] thought that giving a baby shower would give our church and faith-based community an opportunity to share our concern and our love for the family," said Maureen Lacey, a friend of the twins' family. .
