Emma's Closet in need of clothes for moms, babies

People Helping People is a list of charitable causes in our area that need donations or volunteers. These causes have not been investigated by the Beacon Journal to determine their merit, so potential donors should verify the worthiness of the cause and the tax-deductibility of contributions. Guidelines for submitting requests to People Helping People can be found at www.ohio.com/mld/ohio/living, along with guidance on donating to charities and a list of all causes that have been published in the paper. Emma's Closet, a charitable division of Pregnancy Solutions & Services, 3515 Manchester Road, Akron, OH 44319, provides maternity, infant and toddler items to pregnant teens and families in need. It is seeking donations of new and lightly used maternity clothing, new and lightly used infant clothing (through size 3T), bibs, burp cloths, baby socks and shoes, diapers, wipes and baby soap, lotion and shampoo.
