Giving Blood for Babies

You may remember the story from Christmas Day. Triplets were born to Lauren and Joshua Morrison three months premature. Alexis, Shelby and Victoria were tiny girls and they needed a lot of help just to survive. "The babies only have two ounces of blood in them," explained new Grandmother Sarah Ackerman. "So, when they draw blood out to do these tests, they have to have blood for transfusions to go back in them." So, the parking lot filled at Gospel Lighthouse Baptist as blood kin and church family alike filled the couches to support the girls by rolling up their sleeves to give the gift of life.
